Gum Wrapper Prom Dress

This crafty high school student decided to make her prom dress (and her boyfriends vest), out of gum wrappers! She used several hundred Wrigley’s 5 gum wrappers to make the bodice of her dress and coated them with vinyl for strength.

Her bubble gum wrapper dress came out quite awesome, if you ask me! Much more interesting then the overly-too-sexy-for-a-teen dresses that are all the rage at high school proms nowadays….

Virtual Hair Makeover

It’s just too easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to hairstyles and makeup. Once you find a style that “works” it can be scary to change it, but hey, change is good and trying new things is fun!

One of the easiest (and most fun) ways to find a new hairstyle or hair color is by using the virtual makeover system at Makeover Solutions. You simply upload a picture of yourself and you can easily try on nearly 3,000 different hairstyles, hair cuts and hair colors! Makeover Solutions also has a huge, often updated celebrity hairstyle database, so you can easily see if Eva Longorias new color suits your complexion, or if you can pull off the new bangs being worn by Nelly Furtado, Reese Witherspoon and Natalie Portman this season.

Once you find your favorite hairstyles that suit your face, email them to your friends, or print them out and bring them to your stylist for a cut and color that you know you’ll love!

Makeover Solutions also has much more to offer then just hairstyles. You can virtually try on different makeup colors and styles as well as nail polish, glasses, colored contacts, hats, jewellery and you can even virtually whiten your teeth! There is also a special occasions selection which it excellent for find the perfect prom or wedding hairstyles.

The best part is that you can get your virtual makeover for less then $5 a month! I would much rather invest $5 in getting my hair just right, rather then spend over $100 on a haircut/color that I hope will look good on me.

I Heart Fashion: Everything from structured couture coats to itsy bitsy lingerie. Even cool socks, funky costumes and DIY fashion makes my heart flutter. I would rather you look at me and say "WTF are you wearing?!", then "Oh, pretty dress". Fashion should be fun and unique, not boring and mainstream. What you wear is an indelible expression of who you are. Dress accordingly.
