If him or her were to first look at the photo are the beginning of the article than he or she may understand why the show in Madrid took such measures. I mean, come on. Why would you want woman to look like that in the first place? They influence the youth and are a bad one at that. How do you think models who are in such horrific stature were led to it in the first place? They were also influenced by "gazelle-like" figures. When women who are in their 20's and tall enough for runway (around or almost 6 ft. tall) weigh the same as a typical girl in junior high, something is wrong. It's wrong that the fashion industry will turn away a big girl at the first sight of her.. but accept girls who starve themselves to this point. I don't think Fashion is to blame for eatting disorders, but they are partly responsible. Besides.. don't they know they should be more intrested in bigger models?
