Virtual Hair Makeover

It's just too easy to get stuck in a rut when it comes to hairstyles and makeup. Once you find a style that "works" it can be scary to change it, but hey, change is good and trying new things is fun!

One of the easiest (and most fun) ways to find a new hairstyle or hair color is by using the virtual makeover system at Makeover Solutions. You simply upload a picture of yourself and you can easily try on nearly 3,000 different hairstyles, hair cuts and hair colors! Makeover Solutions also has a huge, often updated celebrity hairstyle database, so you can easily see if Eva Longorias new color suits your complexion, or if you can pull off the new bangs being worn by Nelly Furtado, Reese Witherspoon and Natalie Portman this season.

Once you find your favorite hairstyles that suit your face, email them to your friends, or print them out and bring them to your stylist for a cut and color that you know you'll love!

Makeover Solutions also has much more to offer then just hairstyles. You can virtually try on different makeup colors and styles as well as nail polish, glasses, colored contacts, hats, jewellery and you can even virtually whiten your teeth! There is also a special occasions selection which it excellent for find the perfect prom or wedding hairstyles.

The best part is that you can get your virtual makeover for less then $5 a month! I would much rather invest $5 in getting my hair just right, rather then spend over $100 on a haircut/color that I hope will look good on me.

A huge trend for spring and summer 2007 will be lucite accessories. Here's Drew Barrymore on February 14th, showing off this cool new trend with stacks of chunky, clear lucite bracelets.

And, no, Drew isn't the only one with the love for lucite. SO many designers have included lucite accessories in their new collections. Marc Jacobs, Dolce and Gabbanna, Chloe and Fendi are just a few of the designer heavy-hitters that are embracing lucite and making it hot again.

What exactly is lucite, anyways? Lucite is a fancy name for transparent plastic. But, hey, people will be way more interested in checking out your new designer lucite bracelet, then your new designer plastic bracelet. It just sounds better...

Latest Trend - Nude Shoes

Essentially, every designer is doing at least one nude shoe this year, so you can expect this trend to wear on for quite a while. At first, I wanted to think that nude is boring, but realistically this is one of the most fashionable trends we've seen in a while. Understated yet sexy, versatile and classic.

The nude shoe is flattering and easy since it can be worn with anything. Plus, a nude shoe lengthens the leg when worn with dresses, skirts or shorts, for instantly sexy stems. And, of course, nude shoes have been oogled on celebrity feet from Paris to Los Angeles, and have been spotted on Nicole Richie, Sharon Stone, Angelina Jolie, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, just to name a few.

Celebrity Jewelry

As we all know, celebrities greatly affect trends, fashion and fads. One of the most popular fashion trends is celebrity jewelry. Fantasy Jewelry Box offers the latest and greatest celebrity jewelry at amazingly affordable prices. And by no means does "affordable" mean "cheap". The difference between FJB jewelry and typical fashion jewelry is the quality of the product. This celebrity inspired jewelry is made from only the finest .925 silver, cubic zirconia, 14k gold, etc. It is real jewelry! We purchased the following products and were absolutely blown away by the quality and beauty of the jewelry we received:

We also purchased this Hawaiian kukui nut necklace with black ribbon. This excellent quality necklace features genuine kukui nuts and black wooden beads strung on a black suede cord and accented with a black ribbon. If this trend hasn't hit you yet, you NEED this necklace. This and similar style necklaces have been spotted on Jessica Simpson, Tori Spelling, Lindsay Lohan, etc. Price: $19.00
